How to convert 0000 to standard time
Midnight is the one hour where the 12-hour clock trips people up: 0000 is 12:00 AM, the very start of a new day. To convert any time from 0000 to 0059, replace the leading 00 with 12 and add AM – so 0030 is 12:30 AM.
Going the other way, 12 AM (midnight) becomes 0000 – you subtract 12 from the midnight hour, not add.
